Why
a South Downs Access Forum?
A new South
Downs Access Forum has been established to advise local authorities on
the improvement of public access and recreation. It is the first forum
dedicated to an AONB in England, demonstrating positive partnership working
between the South Downs AONBs and local authorities.

Members
The Forum consists of voluntary representatives from a range of recreational
users, landowners/managers, and other interests such as tourism, transport,
and social inclusion.
The South Downs Access Forum is currently looking for new members to join the Forum, particularly those with special interests in disabled access, ethnic minority groups, sport, or sustainable transport. If you are interested in this and would like to know more contact the Forum Officer James Ort.
