From the bus stop walk up Vale Avenue which takes you up to Horsedean Recreation Ground. Turn right and follow the track up to the right, keeping between the trees and the fence at the back of the houses. Turn first left taking you across the footbridge, over the bypass, and left again. Follow the concrete road up to the other side of the valley where you come to a junction. Turn right and pass through the small gate to the left of the track taking you into the field. Keep to the left across the field until you come to a gate directly under the electricity pylons. Go through the gate and head up to the Chattri (point6 . and continue on for longer route). Then, retrace your steps back to the gate at point number 5. Turn left and head down to the gate next to the track. The Chattri, a war memorial to Indian Soldiers serving in the 1st world war. Turn right and walk along the track which brings you back to the junction at point number 4. Turn left and retrace your steps back over the bypass (3) to the Ladies Mile Pub
