From the bus stop at the top of Saltdean Vale, head up to the bridleway signpost. Follow the bridleway passed the football club up to Pickers Hill Farm. Keep right until you come to a waymark post, where you turn left. Walk up the hill, alongside the fence and through the gate. Continue up until you come to a second gate. Do not go through the gate, but turn left, heading passed the cottages. Pass through the next gate. Go straight on, towards Rottingdean, until you get to Westmeston Avenue. Turn right onto the track and take the path leading off the track to the left. Follow the path, bringing you out onto Whiteway Lane. Walk to the bottom of the lane, then turn left onto Vicarage Lane, which comes out onto the High Street, where you can catch the 2/2A, or continue walking down to the coast road where there is a bus stop for Saltdean and Brighton.   ©Crown Copyright LAO76902
